All flights depart from Lake Macquarie Airport, located at 864 Pacific Highway, Marks Point, NSW 2280.
Each passenger must provide accurate weight details during booking. The maximum seat weight per passenger is 130kg.
Cancellations are subject to the following fees:
- More than 48 hours before departure: No charge
- 24–48 hours before departure: 50% of flight cost
- Within 24 hours of departure: Full flight cost
If weather conditions are unsuitable for flying, the pilot will contact you prior to your flight to reschedule or refund.

There are no specific age restrictions; however, passengers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Infants under the age of 2 may be permitted to fly on a parent’s lap, subject to the pilot’s discretion and safety regulations. Please ring the to discuss this option further as this may not always be suitable or available in aircraft per regulations and laws

If weather conditions are deemed unsafe for flying, Skyline Aviation Group will contact passengers prior to the scheduled departure to reschedule the flight or offer a refund. Passenger safety is the top priority.

Helicopter Flight Training
Skyline Aviation Group provides training for:
- Private Pilot Licence (PPL): For those looking to fly for personal enjoyment.
- Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL): For individuals aiming to pursue a career as a helicopter pilot.
- Endorsements and Ratings: Including Sling, Night, and Instructor Ratings.
- Trial Introductory Flights (TIFs): Hands-on lessons for aspiring pilots.
To obtain a CPL, you must:
- Complete a minimum of 105 hours of flight training in accordance with the CASA-approved syllabus.
- Hold a Class 1 Aviation Medical Certificate.
- Pass seven theoretical exams covering helicopter-specific knowledge.
- Successfully complete a practical flight test.
To obtain a PPL, you must:
- Complete a minimum of 50 hours of flight training in accordance with the CASA-approved syllabus.
- Hold a Class 2 Aviation Medical Certificate.
- Pass a theoretical examination.
- Successfully complete a practical flight test.
Training is generally conducted using a Robinson R22 and R44 helicopters. We do recommend a combination of both, especially for the CPL students as your first job is generally in a R44
